Canucklehead Word of the Day: Hoser
I'm sure that many of you, including those outside of my fair country are nonetheless familiar with Bob and Doug MacKenzie. They used the term 'hoser' frequently and it became essentially the equivalent of 'loser' - which, as you are about to learn is the correct usage of the word. In the early days of hockey, before the invent of the zamboni, it was the tradition that the losing team would have to stay after the game to hose off the ice. I'm happy to say that Canucklehead is not in fact a 'hoser'. I don't often 'toot my own horn' so I hope you'll forgive me if I indulge just this once to speak of two recent accomplishments. Firstly, after it slumping for the last little bit, I have managed to get my Alexa rank back up to a Heruclean 23,311 yesterday, for a current overall ranking of 40,236. I'm back baby!
