#LdnOnt

Those who have been around this blog for a while know I wear a lot of hats. Of course, none of them fit very well ... but I wear them anyways. I'm not going to list all my accomplishments and activities here, but suffice it to say they are both seemingly random and occasionally impressive. Anyway, my note tonight is to add another hat to the list ... one of both a TV show producer and host ...

#LdnOnt

It's true, you can actually see our promo HERE. So what exactly is the show about? In short, it's about the city where I live (London, Ontario) as seen through the eyes of twitter. Well, maybe this section from the media release can explain it better than I can:

#LdnOnt - Premieres Thursday, February 23rd at 9:30 PM

#LdnOnt explores the issues of the day as defined by London’s Twitter community and provides viewers an opportunity to participate in the conversation during the show via Twitter. Each week, Host and Community Producer Lincoln McCardle, an active member of the local Twitterati brings viewers up to date on trending topics in London, showcases the latest tech trends and invites London Tweeters to co-host.

“My hope for #LdnOnt on Rogers TV is that the show will bring together Londoners and engage them in discussing what’s happening right here in our city,” says McCardle. “It’s an interactive program about London, created for, and by the people that make it such a wonderful place. We invite Londoners to watch #LdnOnt and join the conversation!”

Wait?! Did that say it premiered on February 23rd? Yes, yes it did. So, why are you just finding out about it now? Well, I've never done TV before, let alone live TV - so I wanted to get a few shows under my belt before I actually told people about it. And well, here we are. If you live in London or the surrounding area ... you can watch the show on Rogers (channel 13) on Thursday nights live at 9:30PM. It also gets replayed on Fridays and Sundays - check your local listings. I'm afraid full shows are not available outside the area -- but we do put a segment up from each show a few days afterwards online -- you can find those HERE. I should mention, I really am in fact the co-host as I invite a random member of the local twitter community to help me - a different person each week. Think you might be interested? Hit me up below or via the links you can find in the next paragraph.

Alright, that's all for now. Please feel free to follow us on twitter or ... believe it or not ... you can actually like us on Facebook. I'm still not sure if anyone is watching or even how long it will last -- but I am trying to enjoy it while it does. That's all for now. #LdnOnt - join the conversation!

CHEERS!

P.S. - Of course this does mean that I'm totally hanging with the stars now:
