Something happened recently. It may seem like a small thing but in fact it will change the entire world as we know it. Okay. Not the world. Maybe the Canucklehead world. Well, at least this part - the blog. The truth is, and I make no secret about this -- this is my fave part of the site. Why? I have no idea. I guess that it is because - well, its me.
Anyway, this particular section is not exactly what you would call, ummm. popular. That's actually okay -- this is my part anyway ... however, I mentioned this fact to my wife and her response is what this post is about .... for I think its time to head in a new direction.
"Well, of course people don't reads it. All you do is talk about your life and your life is boring. Hell, you wouldn't even read about your life ... and you're living it!"
Truer words were never spoken. With a few notable exceptions, I don't as a rule stick around for long on sites that are talking about their boring-ass lives. I mean, really? Who cares? I guess in retrospect I expected you to ... and for that I'm sorry. So, this 'blog' is about to take a new direction. I'm not exactly sure what yet .. but I'll be spending the next week or two at a cottage at the beach and I'll think about it. The key is of course to think of what people want to read. A vampire something? Maybe Hannah Squarepants? Let me think about it ...
I'll take suggestions below. In the interim, here are a few more universal truths:
Triangular sandwiches taste better than square ones.
Reading when you're drunk is horrible.
All the good domain names are already gone.
A friend will help you move -- a best friend will help you move a body.
Knowledge is knowing a tomato is a fruit; Wisdom is not putting it in a fruit salad.
If it's too loud, well - you're too old.
There's no panic like the panic you momentarily feel when you've got your hand or head stuck in something.
Han shot first.
People who don't drive slam car doors too hard.
Lists? The weapon of the lazy blogger. Okay - at LEAST one lazy blogger.
