C'mon now! Every blog needs a theme song and "Life with Canucklehead" (as I affectionately call this section) is no exception. I hesitant to post again and move my current favourite video from the top (see below) but this was too good to wait.
You see, I've given my blog a theme song and am hereby challenging all my fellow bloggers to do the same. Now let's be clear - I do NOT want it to play automatically when I go do the site - a link will suffice or simply tell me what it would be. There you go, the gauntlet has been thrown down.
Now on the show, mine is 'Working Man, by Rush. This is for a number of reasons, not the least of which is that Rush and Canadian, and as you may have guessed by now - well, so am I. Additionally, it is a great song. Not my favourite mind you - but a great song. I've seen it performed live and listened to it enough times that I feel I have a certain kinship with it. Lastly, and most importantly, I am a working man. As I often remind you all, I work full-time, attend university part-time and am a husband and father to a awesome three-year-old. I'm afraid I normally use this as an excuse, which is unfair, because is there anyone out there who is not busy - especially at this time of year. When I'm not putting enough time in the here I play the old 'but, but - I'm doing all of this other stuff.' Meh. I act as if I'm doing all of this for you out there when it is clear to everyone that I'm doing it for myself. That being said, here I sit - plugging away. Canucklehead - you are the working man!
